Although easily recognized by most, Old English Sheepdogs are not often seen. This is not due to their temperament. This is often due to the daunting task of their coat care. Those who have the time, energy and patience to keep up to the constant grooming and the continuous dirt and hair, will be rewarded with a fantastic dog.

Border Collie
Border Collies are one of the most active and intelligent dog breeds around. They are very responsive, are amazingly quick learners, and excel in obedience. Border Collies are not a breed for the casual owner. Although they are easy to train, they are not an easy dog to own. They require ongoing socialization, exercise and training throughout their entire lives. They are best suited for the experienced dog owner and pack leader.

The Hungarian Puli
The Puli hails from Hungary where he was a herder and guardian of livestock. This very distinctive looking dog is not often seen. Unlike any other dog, aside from their larger cousin the Hungarian Komondor, they have a coat that falls in tight curls, much like dreadlocks.

The Australian Cattle Dog
As rough and rugged as the outback of his homeland, the Australian Cattle dog is a capable non nonsense dog breed. They do not enjoy a sedentary life and for this reason are not often seen in the city. All but the most dedicated can find them difficult to keep up to.
