German Shepherd
German Shepherds are faithful companions, alert protectors and unswerving friends. They are an intelligent breed, who learns easily and is very responsive to firm but fair training. Training they need, ill trained German Shepherds can be dangerous dogs. They are definitely best suited for an experienced owner, one that has the dedication and time to raise these capable and confident dogs properly. All too often aggressive badly mannered German Shepherds are seen, but this is due to lack of early socialization and training and too little exercise, not due to the breeds natural character.

The Siberian Husky
Along with Alaskan Malamutes and Samoyeds, Siberian Huskies are direct descendents of the original sled dogs. They are one of the oldest dog breeds in the world. Huskies are friendly outgoing dogs, full of vigour and enthusiasm. They are clever and intelligent, and need an experienced owner who knows how to be a solid pack leader. They are skilled at getting their own way and will take full advantage of a weak owner. They require early, firm and consistent obedience training; a poorly trained Husky can be a serious troublemaker.
